The free Electro Giant Evolution is the biggest reward in Clash Royale’s Shocktober Album Event, but it is not claimed from the Pass Royale track. Players need to collect Snippets, complete every movie-poster Scene in the album, and finish the full set before the event ends on November 2, 2026.
The same completion reward also includes a unique emote and a Tower Skin. The event is available to players who have reached Arena 3.
When does the Shocktober Album Event end?
Shocktober: The Movie runs from October 6 through November 2. The event is already live, so the safest approach is to collect the daily Snippet rewards now instead of trying to complete the album during the final weekend.
Supercell lists the dates globally but does not publish a separate U.S. time-zone table in its season announcement. Use the countdown shown inside Clash Royale for the exact cutoff on your account.
How do you earn Snippets?
Snippets are the collectibles used to fill movie-poster Scenes. According to Supercell’s official Shocktober guide, you can get them in three ways:
- Daily battle rewards, up to three Snippets per day
- Limited-time events during the season
- The in-game Shop
Snippets come in Common, Rare, Epic, and Legendary rarities. Each new one fills a missing position in the album. Completing individual Scenes unlocks intermediate rewards; completing every Scene grants the grand prize.
What should you do with duplicate Snippets?
A Snippet you already own becomes duplicate currency. Common and Rare duplicates are worth three duplicate points, while Epic and Legendary duplicates are worth four. You can exchange four duplicate points for a Unique Snippet, which is guaranteed to fill a slot you do not already have.
That exchange is the main protection against bad luck. Check the album before spending duplicate currency so you can see which Scenes are closest to completion. Extra Snippets collected after the full album is complete convert into bonus rewards instead of becoming useless.
The fastest free strategy
- Win enough battles to claim all three daily Snippets. Missing several days removes the most reliable free source.
- Play the season events. They add Snippets beyond the daily battle cap and can reduce the number you need from the Shop.
- Convert duplicates as soon as a Unique Snippet will finish a difficult Scene. The guaranteed new piece is more valuable late in the album than random duplicate progress.
- Use the final week as a safety net, not the whole plan. Supercell says daily reward Snippets become Unique Snippets during the last week, which should help fill remaining gaps.
No premium purchase is required for the Evolution itself. Supercell explicitly describes it as free for completing the Album Event. Shop offers may speed up collection, but the daily and event routes are the no-cost path.
What does Electro Giant Evolution do?
Electro Giant Evolution activates after one cycle. Its upgraded Zap Pack sends out an expanding electric pulse that weakens enemies in range. Each pulse lowers an affected troop’s level by one, and the reduction can stack when additional pulses connect.
That makes the Evolution especially disruptive against troops that stay near the Electro Giant long enough to absorb multiple pulses. It does not replace normal deck building, but it changes how defenders time and position their counters.
What else is happening during Shocktober?
The album sits inside a larger season that includes the new Hero Electro Wizard, Spooky Chess, C.H.A.O.S. modes, the Power Surge Global Tournament, and the returning 20-Win Challenge. The short answer
Claim up to three battle-reward Snippets every day, play Shocktober events, trade four duplicate points for guaranteed Unique Snippets, and complete every Scene before November 2. Finishing the album unlocks Electro Giant Evolution, a unique emote, and a Tower Skin for free.
