Pokémon TCG 30th Celebration: What Released October 2?

Two new Pokémon TCG: 30th Celebration products arrive in the United States on October 2: the Booster Bundle and the Mini Tins. The expansion itself launched on September 16, so today’s release is a second product wave rather than a new card set or a restock of every 30th Celebration item.

That difference explains why collectors may suddenly see fresh listings even though cards from the expansion have been available for more than two weeks. Here is exactly what launched today, what comes inside each product, and which later releases are still waiting.

What Pokémon TCG products released on October 2?

The official Pokémon TCG product schedule lists two U.S. releases for October 2, 2026.

  • 30th Celebration Booster Bundle: Six booster packs with no promo card, binder, sleeves, or other accessories.
  • 30th Celebration Mini Tins: Two booster packs, one sticker sheet, and an art card matching the tin design.

There are ten different Mini Tin artworks. Pokémon says collectors can arrange the full set of art cards to create two larger images based on the expansion’s day-and-night theme. The cards inside the booster packs come from the same 30th Celebration expansion released in September.

What is inside a 30th Celebration booster pack?

Each booster pack contains five foil cards and one foil Basic Energy card. One of the five cards can feature one of 30 uniquely illustrated Pikachu cards, while the wider expansion includes more than 150 cards across its main set and Classic Collection.

These are special-set packs, so the product structure is different from a regular Pokémon TCG expansion. The October 2 Booster Bundle is the most direct option for someone who simply wants six packs. The Mini Tin exchanges four of those packs for a reusable tin, a sticker sheet, and collectible artwork.

Booster Bundle or Mini Tin: which should you choose?

Choose the Booster Bundle if your priority is opening more packs with the fewest extras. It contains six packs in one compact box and avoids paying for accessories you may not want.

Choose a Mini Tin if you like the artwork, want a small storage container, or plan to collect the ten designs. Each tin includes only two packs, so buying several tins is an artwork-focused decision rather than the simplest route to six packs.

Pokémon’s U.S. announcement does not publish suggested retail prices for these products. That makes it especially important to compare a listing with major authorized sellers before paying a large marketplace premium. A product being difficult to find during launch week does not automatically make an inflated resale price reasonable.

Did the 30th Celebration expansion launch today?

No. The 30th Celebration expansion officially launched worldwide on September 16. That first wave included the standard Elite Trainer Box, Pokémon Center Elite Trainer Box, Poster Collection, Tech Sticker Collection, Knock Out Collection, and Sylveon ex or Greninja ex boxes.

October 2 adds two more ways to obtain the same booster packs. It does not replace the earlier products, introduce a second expansion, or change the card list. If a store page describes the Booster Bundle as a new set, it is using loose wording.

What 30th Celebration products are still coming?

Several major products remain scheduled for later in 2026:

  • October 30: All-foil Espeon ex and Umbreon ex Battle Decks.
  • November 6: Ditto Premium Collection, Day & Night Ultra-Premium Collection, and Mew or Mewtwo Figure Collections.
  • December 4: The Binder Collection with a nine-pocket binder and five booster packs.

The November 6 Ultra-Premium Collection is the largest announced package. It includes 29 regular 30th Celebration packs, one Classic Collection pack, promo cards, a playmat, sleeves, a deck box, and additional accessories. Collectors mainly interested in that premium package do not need to treat October 2 as their final chance.

There is also a new Pokémon TCG Live event

The physical products are not the only October 2 addition. Pokémon TCG Live begins a limited Pikachu Party challenge today. It runs through October 15 and asks players to use the many Pikachu cards included in 30th Celebration.

That event is digital and separate from buying physical Booster Bundles or Mini Tins. Logging into TCG Live will not reserve store inventory, and purchasing a tin is not required to enter the challenge.

What buyers should check before ordering

Confirm that the listing names the exact 30th Celebration product, shows sealed packaging, and comes from a retailer or seller with a clear return policy. Do not confuse the six-pack Booster Bundle with the two-pack Mini Tin, and do not assume that every October listing is shipping immediately.

The practical answer is simple: October 2 is the launch date for Booster Bundles and Mini Tins, not the entire expansion. Pick the Bundle for six straightforward packs, choose the tins for their collectible art, and remember that several of the year’s biggest 30th Celebration products are still ahead.
