Pokémon GO Halloween 2026 Part II runs from Sunday, November 1 at 10:00 a.m. to Thursday, November 5 at 8:00 p.m., all in local time. Its biggest additions are Shiny Greavard and a new Super Max Mega Level for Mega Sableye.

What is new in Halloween 2026 Part II?

Shiny Greavard makes its Pokémon GO debut. Greavard can appear in the wild, as a GO Pass reward, and from event Field Research. That gives free players several ways to check encounters without relying on raids.

Confirmed wild encounters include Litwick, costumed Rowlet, and Greavard. A Gengar wearing a Spooky Festival costume can also appear for lucky Trainers. One-star raids feature Pikachu wearing a hat and capelet and Sinistea wearing a bow. Both raid costumes can be Shiny.

Part II begins at the exact time Halloween 2026 Part I ends, so there is no gap between the two event halves.

How does Mega Sableye Super Max work?

Starting with Part II, Mega Sableye can advance beyond Max to the new Super Max Mega Level. You must first reach the third Mega Level, Max. Repeated Mega Evolutions alone will not finish the upgrade. Advancing to Super Max requires additional Sableye Mega Energy.

While Mega Evolved, an eligible Sableye can use the extra Charged Attack Night Shade+. The move has 55 power in Trainer Battles and 160 power in raids. Its power increases with Mega Level.

The practical decision is simple: do not spend Mega Energy blindly. Check whether your best Sableye is already at Max and whether you have enough energy for the new progression. The official announcement does not promise a special new source of Sableye Mega Energy during Part II.

GO Pass dates, bonuses, and prices

The Halloween GO Pass begins earlier, on October 27 at 10:00 a.m. local time, and remains active through November 5 at 8:00 p.m. The free pass is added automatically.

  • Reach Rank 10 for 2x catch Candy. Deluxe raises that bonus to 3x.
  • Reach Rank 20 for 2x catch Stardust. Deluxe raises that bonus to 3x.
  • GO Pass Deluxe costs $7.99 in the United States.
  • GO Pass Deluxe plus 10 Ranks costs $9.99 and grants enough points to reach Rank 11.
  • Unlocked rewards expire November 7 at 8:00 p.m. local time.

The paid track adds items such as Rare Candy XL, Premium Battle Passes, and Patissier avatar pieces. Because Shiny Greavard is also available in the wild and Field Research, the paid pass is not required to hunt it.

Best preparation for Part II

  • Clear Pokémon storage before November 1 so you can check Greavard quickly.
  • Save a Star Piece for a longer session after unlocking the Rank 20 Stardust bonus.
  • Use daily free raid passes on the costumed one-star bosses only if you want their Shiny forms.
  • Check Field Research before deleting tasks, since the exact Greavard tasks may only be clear once the event begins.
  • Claim every unlocked GO Pass reward before the November 7 deadline.

The bottom line

Part II is a shorter, more focused event than Part I. Shiny hunters should prioritize Greavard encounters, while competitive players should evaluate whether Super Max Mega Sableye is worth the energy cost. Niantic’s official Halloween 2026 Part II announcement is the best place to check for schedule changes before the event starts.
